A combination of artistic collaborations and the exploration of different disciplines - this is probably the best way to describe Ana Žerjal's work. Born in 1987 in the Slovenian coastal town of Koper, she first turned to sculpture during her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. Since then, she has worked in numerous artistic fields such as sculpture (wood, stone, metal ...), land art, formaviva, stage design, stage prop design, costume design, painting, video and animated films and performance in an interdisciplinary manner. The focus is on the tireless exploration of the factors and consequences of their immediate living and working environment and the situation in which the world currently finds itself.
